WHEREAS, a

DISTRI CT ]PIPELINE COMPANY, an Illincts Co raz:ratio n as t o Par cel
I (A), being the sole owners of _ecord of the hereinafter described land
and territory for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
line. Ls of any munic.ipali ty but is coati guous to th a Vill age of Elk Gro ve
Village , i a uninhabited and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, said petition is under Oath and in all respects complies
with the requirements of the statute in such case made and provided. and
WHEREAS, the Pre sident and. Board of Trustees of this Village
have examined said petition and have cons idered the question of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it to be
to the beat interests of the municipality that such territory be annexe d
thereto; Now, Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF TIE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS;

Section 1. That the lands and territory described in said petition
Parcel No. 1 (A)
An 82 1/2 foot strip of property acro ss Lot 1 of Assessor'G
Division located in t he North East quarter of t he South Ea st
quarter of Section 28, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian described as beginning at a
point on the East line of a aid South East quarter and 242, 72 feet
South of the North li. ne of said South Fas t quarter and extending
North Westerly for a distance of 546. 7 feet to a point on the

said South East quarter. thence Southerly along the West line
of Lot 1 for a distance of 83.08 feet, said line being 5 2.87
feet West of and parallel to tut Last line of said South Ea2t
quarter; thence South Easterly 546.7 feet to a point on the
East line of said South East quarter said point being 325.0
feet South of the North line of said South East Quarter; thence
Northerly along the East line of said South East quarter 83.08
feet to the place of beginning.

That part of Section 28, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows:
Commenting at the Southeast corner
of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quartwt of said Section
28; thence North along the East line of said section 23 chains
and 39 links more or less to the center of a road thence North
74 degrees West along the center of said road, 8 chains and 48
links; thence South parallel with the East line of said Section,
25 chains and 60 links more or less to a point dux West of the
place of beginning; thence East 8 chains and 17 links more or
leas to the point of beginning, except that part thereof owned
by Chicago District Pipeline Company and described above as
Paragraph A hereof, in Cook County, Illinois.
Parcel No. 2.
The North Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 28, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian (except that part
thereof conveyed to John Schwarz by deed recorded on
November 5, 1885, as Document Number 666960, in
Book 1677, Page 493) in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not
embraced therein, is uninhabited, contains no electors residing thereon,
and is unincorporated, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village
of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village as is by law in such
case made and provided.
