AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND
SALARY PLANS FOR MERIT PAY PLAN POSITIONS OF THE VILLAGE
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (PRODUCTION
ASSISTANT)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan as referenced
in Title 1, Chapter 7, Section 1-7-5 of the Village Code be amended as follows:

Non -Union Merit Pay Plan Positions (amended by adding the following
language):
Management Incentive Program (MIP): An employee holding
Department Head status for at least 15 years is eligible for the following
incentive:
- To be advanced to the salary range maximum for their classification
upon the fifteenth anniversary of the employee as a Department Head;
and
- To receive an additional $3, 000 per fiscal year distributed over twenty-
six (26) pay periods.
Ordinance - Production Assistant
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
