AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-7:D.3 OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 6 FOOT
HIGH CHAIN LINK FENCE WITH 1 FOOT BARBED WIRE ON TOP WHICH
WOULD EXTEND BEYOND THE NEAREST FRONT CORNER OF THE
PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1717 BUSSE ROAD
ELK GROVE VILLAGE (FS EGL CHICAGO LLC)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a Public Hearing duly called and
held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-7:D.3
of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a chain link fence to be located beyond the nearest
front corner of the principal structure on property located at 1717 Busse Road, Elk Grove
Village; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said
variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-7:13.3 of the Zoning
Ordinance to permit a six-foot (6') high chain link fence with one foot (1') barbed wire
on top which would extend approximately one hundred thirty one feet (131') beyond the
nearest front corner of the principal structure on property located at 1717 Busse Road,
Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
