A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT NO. 00-121850
BETWEEN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS (DCCA) AND THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (INTERSTATE
290 BIKEPATH AND OVERPASS ROHLWING RD TO BEISNER RD)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President be and is hereby
authorized to sign the attached documents marked:
ADDENDUM TO GRANT AGREEMENT
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully
set forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said
documents upon the signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

ADDENDUM TO GRANT AGREEMENT
The following constitutes Addendum No.1 to Grant Agreement No. 00-121850 (the
Agreement) executed on May 2, 2000, by the Illinois Department of Commerce and
Community Affalrs (RCCA) and Village of.Elk. Grove Village (Grantee). This Addendum
Is limited to the matters set forth herein. All other provisions of the Agreement remain
as set forth at the time of its execution.
1. External Approval. Pursuant to the provisions. of Section 2.2 and Exhibit 1
of the Agreement, Grantee hereby agrees to comply with the conditions set forth in the
attached Illinois Department of Natural Resources memorandum dated August 28,
2000.
2. Disbursement.of DCCA Grant Funds. The Department will authorize
disbursementof grant funds In the amount of $1.250.000.00 upon Grantee's execution
of this Addendum.
3. Eallura to Comply. Grantee acknowledges that its failure to. comply with the
provisions of this.Addendum shalt be grounds for the Department to terminate the
Agreement for cause and pursue all legal remedies available to the Department
including but not limited to recovery of -all funds provided under the Agreement.
4, Autborily Grantee acknowledges that the person signing this Addendum Is
authorized to bind the Grantee to its terms. -
