WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the best interest of the
village of Elk Grove village would be served by accepting MasterCard and/or
Visa cards for the one-time event of the Village's Camelot on the Green
Celebration Dinner/Auction; and
WHEREAS, the Village maintains accounts at First Chicago Bank Elk
Grove; and
WHEREAS, the Village Treasurer is the custodian of all money paid
into the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois;
Section 1, That the Village Treasurer is authorized on behalf of
the Village to execute and deliver to First Chicago Bank the Bank Card
Merchant Agreement in the form required by the Bank and any other documents
required in connection therewith, and if such Agreement or any other such
document has heretofore been so executed and delivered such execution and
delivery is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 2, The term of the agreement is for the one-time event of
the Village's Camelot on the Green Dinner Dance/Auction and that said
agreement will terminate after such event.
Section 3, That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
