A RESOLUTION AMENDING ARTICLE III, SECTION 3.2 11, RESIDENCY,
OF THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as
follows:
Section 1* That Section 3.2 (11) , Residency, of the Personnel Rules and
Regulations of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby amended as set
forth on Exhibit "A'- attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein.
Section 9 : That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.

EXHIBIT A
3.2 11 Residency
A. Any applicant who is hired or promoted to fill the
following positions:
Village Manager
Assistant Village Manager
Chief of Police
Fire Chief
Director of Finance
Director of Eng. & Comm. Dev.
Health Coordinator
Community Service Coordinator
Director of Public Works
Village Clerk
on or after November 1, 1984 must become a bonafide resident
of the Village of Elk Grove Village within eighteen (18) months
of their employment date.
Amy individual appointed to any one of the aforementioned
positions prior to November 1984, who is not a resident of the
Village of Elk Grove, must become a bonafide resident of the Village
at such time as the individual relocates from their address on
record with the Village.
B. The establishment and continued residency in the Village
shall be a condition of continued employment. Failure
to comply with this continued residency requirement
shall result in immediate termination of employment
from the Village.
