HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 2-96 - 1/9/1996 - AGREEMENT, EXTENSIONRESOLUTION NO. 2-96 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE CLERK TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION OF AN AGREEMENT (Resolution No. 49-94) BETWEEN ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT NORTHWEST FOR THE PROVISION OF SERVICE TO MULTI••FAMILY PROPERTIES, CHURCHES, CONGREGATE HOUSE UNITS, AND ALEXIAN BROTHERS MEDICAL CENTER NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to sign the attached documents marked;: LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING Amending a Solid Waste contract with WASTE MANAGEMENT NORTHWEST for Multiple Family Properties, Churches, Congregate House Units, and Alexian Brothers Medical Center with the Village of Elk Grove Village,, Illinois. a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the signature of the Village President,. Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 9th day of January , 1996. Smith Village Clerk January 9, 1996 Letter of Understanding amending a solid waste contract with Waste Management for Multiple -Family Properties, Churches, Congregate House Units, and Alexian Brothers Medical Center with the Village of Elk Grove, Illinois The Village of Elk Grove and Waste Management Northwest hereby agree to extend the aforementioned contract three additional years, for a total of six years, with refuse hauling charges increasing once, by 6%, beginning November 1997, and frozen thereafter all in accordance with the terms herein as follows: Revised Section 3.1 - Term of Contract The initial term of this Waste Contract shall commence on November 1, 1994, and end on October 31, 2000, unless terminated at an earlier date pursuant to the terms of this Waste Contract.
