A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION OF AN AGREEMENT (Resolution No. 44-94)
BETWEEN ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT NORTHWEST FOR THE
PROVISION OF RESIDENTIAL. YARIIWASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to
sign the attached documents marked:
LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
Extending an existing contract between
WASTE MANAGEMENT NORTHWEST and the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Illinois for Residential,
Yardwaste, and Recycling Service dated
August 9, 1994.
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the
signature of the Village President..
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

Letter of Understanding
extending an existing contract between
Waste Management Northwest and
the Village of Elk Grove, Illinois
for Residential, Yardwaste,
and Recycling Service
dated August 9, 1994
The Village of Elk Grove and Waste Management Northwest hereby
agree to amend Section 3.1, Section 5.1(b)(ii)(a) and Exhibit E of
the aforementioned contract as stated herein.
Revised Section 3.1 - Term of Contract. The initial
Waste Contract shall commence on November 1, 1994,
October 31, 2000, unless terminated at an earlier date
the terms of this Waste Contract.
Revised Section 5.1(b)(ii)(a) - Yardwaste Charge
The rate for yardwaste stickers shall be
$1.00 per sticker beginning April 1, 1995.
$1.25 per sticker beginning April 1, 1999.
$1.50 per sticker beginning April 1, 2000.
