A RESOLUTION AMENDING ARTICLE VI OF THE PERSONNEL RULES
AND REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE BY
ADDING SECTION 6.8 RE -HIRE OF PENSIONED EMPLOYEES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6..8, Article VI of the Personnel Rules
and Regulations of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby added as
set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

Article VI, Section 6.8: Re-hire of Pensioned F�loyees
In the event an employee is offered a full-time position in a different
classification prior to resignation for pension, that employee would be
hired as a new employee. Howexcer, in lieu of total compensation for
accrued vacation, the employee may carry into the new position no more
than two (2) weeks vacation to be utilized during the first year of
employment.
