A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY STUDY
TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE GROVE MALL SHOPPING CENTER QUALIFIES
FOR DESIGNATION AS A REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA UNDER THE TAX
INCREMENT FINANCING STATUTES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the firm of Trkla, Pettigrew, Allen & Payne, Inc. be authorized to pre-
pare a feasibility study to determine whether the Grove Mall Shopping Center, located at the
Southwest corner of Biesterfield Road and Arlington Heights Road, qualifies for designation as
Redevelopment Project Area under the State of Illinois Tax Increment Financing statute.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to provide notice to those taxing
authorities affected by the designation of the subject property as a tax increment project.
Section 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
