A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES AND
REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT
AWARD PROGRAM
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1 . That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby
authorize an amendment to Section 8.23 entitled, Employee Retirement
Award Program of the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, a copy of the revision is attached hereto and
made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after October 25, 1994 according to law.

Retiring employees shall receive a Retirement Award in recognition of
their length of faithful productive service. To be eligible for such
award, the retiring employee must:
1 . Have completed a minimum of fifteen (15)
years of full time service;
2. Is eligible to receive retirement benefits
upon the date of termination; and
3. Has applied to receive retirement benefits
immediately.
