A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE AND COOK COUNTY FOR LANDMEIER ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
(SIDEWALKS AND WATERMAIN)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to
sign the attached documents marked:
AGREEMENT
County of Cook/Village of Elk Grove Village
Landmeier Road Improvements
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the
signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

AGREEMENT
THE COUNTY OF COOK LANDMEIER ROAD
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD
TO BUSSE ROAD
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE - SECTION: 85 -A6815 -02 -RP
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between THE
COUNTY OF COOK, a body politic and corporate of the State of
Illinois, hereinafter called "COUNTY", and the Village of Elk
Grove, a Municipal Corporation within Cook County, Illinois,
hereinafter called "VILLAGE".
WITNESSETH
THAT, WHEREAS the COUNTY proposes to improve Landmeier
Road from Arlington Heights Road to Busse Road, and
WHEREAS the VILLAGE has requested the COUNTY to include,
in its improvement project, sidewalks on both sides of the
road. and
WHEREAS the VILLAGE has requested the COUNTY to include
in its improvement project the installation of a water main.
NOW, therefore, the parties agree as follows:
1. The COUNTY'S Contractor will construct the sidewalks
on both sides of Landmeier Road within the improvement project
as shown on Exhibit A.
2. The COUNTY's Contractor will install the water main
as shown on Exhibit B.
3. THE VILLAGE agrees to pay the entire cost of the
sidewalkinsLallation estimated to be $70,000.00. The VILLAGE
agrees to pay the entire cost of the water main installation
estimated to be $310,000.00 within 30 days of being notified
that the sidewalks have been constructed and water main
installed. Payment shall be by check, payable to the Treasurer
of Cook County for deposit in County's Motor Fuel Tax Account
600-570, sent (or delivered) to the County Superintendent
of Highways. ,
4. THE VILLAGE agrees to accept full responsibility for
the maintenance, replacement, removal, relocation and legal
jurisdiction of the completed sidewalk and water main. This
agreement constitutes the permit for same.
IN WITNESS Whereof the COUNTY and Village have cause this
agreement to be executed by their respective officials on the
dates as shown.
