A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 12-70
AND AUTHORIZING FACSIMILE SIGNATURES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Resolution No. 12-70 be repealed.
Section 2: That NBD Elk Grove Bank, of Elk Grove Village,
Illinois, as a designated depository of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
is hereby requested, authorized and directed to honor, pay and charge to
the Village of Elk Grove Village all checks or other orders for payment of
money signed in the name of the Village of Elk Grove Village when bearing
the actual signatures or when bearing or purporting to bear the facsimile
signatures of any two of the following:
Village Treasurer Hilda Ingebrigtsen
Village Manager Charles A. Willis
whether or not payable to, endorsed or negotiated by, or deposited to the
individual credit of any of said persons, and said NBD Elk Grove Bank
shall be entitled to honor, pay and charge the Village of Elk Grove Village
for all such checks or other orders for the payment of money irrespective
of by whom or by what means the purported or actual facsimile signatures
thereon may have been affixed thereto if such signatures resemble the
facsimile specimens duly certified to or filed with said Bank.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove
Village is hereby authorized to certify to said Bank a copy of this
resolution and specimens of said facsimile signatures and said Bank is
hereby authorized to rely upon such certificate until it is formally
advised by a subsequent certificate in writing under the corporate seal of
the Village of Elk Grove Village of any changes or alterations therein.
Section 4: That the aforementioned authority shall apply to the
following designated and numbered accounts and all others:
General Account 10-011-0
Waterworks and Sewerage Fund Revenue Account 10-002-1
Payroll Account 10-478-7
Claims Fund Account 17-192-1
Section 5: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
