A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR PROPOSED UTILITY
EASEMENT - COMMONWEALTH EDISON (BIESTERFIELD ROAD)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to
sign the attached documents marked:
Grant of Easement for Proposed Utility Easement
Westerfield Road Frontage of the Village Hall )
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the
signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

Dear Mr. Bofice:
I am submitting several copies of easement documents for your
consideration.
The easement is required before our construction department can
begin to install our existing overhead facilities along the south
side of Biesterfield Road to underground. This easement will allow
Commonwealth Edison Company to install an underground conduit
package with above ground switch-cubicles to serve the immediate
area.
If the request meets with approval, please have the appropriate
officials of the Village of Elk Grove Village, to execute the
documents, affix their corporate seal, notarize on the reverse side
and return five (5) original copies to me in the enclosed return
envelope.

GRANT OF EASEMENT
The Grantor(s) Village of Elk Grove Villaae
in consideration of the BUM of One Dollar and other valuable consideration, receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, hereby give(s) and grant(s) to COMMONWEALTH EDISON COMPANY, an
Illinois Corporation and Illinois Bell Telephone Company, an Illinois Corporation, their
respective licensees, BUccessore and assigns, jointly and severally, an easement to
construct, operate, maintain, renew, relocate and remove, from time to time, poles, wires,
cables, conduits, manholes, transformers, pedestals and other facilities used in connection
with underground transmission and distribution of electricity, soundB and signals, together
with right of access to the Bame and the right, from time to time, to trim or remove trees,
bushes and saplings and to clear obstructions from the surface and subsurface as may be
reasonably required incident to the grant herein given, in, over, under, across, along and
upon the surface of property situated in Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois, described as follows:
