A RESOLUTION HONORING VILLAGE MANAGER CHARLES A. WILLIS
WHEREAS, Charles A. Willis has been an employee of the Village of Elk
Grove Village for the past twenty-five years; and
WHEREAS, Charles A. Willis will be retiring as Village Manager of the
Village on August 1, 1992; and
WHEREAS, his leadership, initiative, professionalism and experience as
a public administrator has enabled the Village to develop a professionally
managed community which serves as a model to other communities; and
WHEREAS, his dedication and leadership to public service and the
Village has been an inspiration to the President and Board of Trustees and
the entire Village Staff; and
WHEREAS, it is widely recognized by all residents of the Village that
Charles A. Willis has contributed to making the Village a dynamic and
better community in which to live and work, and has provided for its
health, safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the' President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
as follows:
Section 1: That Charles A. Willis is hereby commended for his
leadership, outstanding performance and commitment to the highest pub is
service standards which earned him the respect of the Village President,
Board of Trustees, Administration, and the sincerest appreciation of the
citizens of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That on behalf of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Charles A. Willis, is hereby extended our sincerest wishes for good health
and happiness in his retirement.
Section 3: That as an expression of gratitude for outstanding
service by Charles A. Willis to the Village, the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village has unanimously adopted this
Resolution on the 28th day of July, 1992.
