A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESULTS OF THE CANVASS CONDUCTED BY
THE CANVASSING BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE OF
THE VOTES OF THE CONSOLIDATED ELECTION FOR VILLAGE OFFICIALS
HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 2, 1991 AND PROCLAIMING THE RESULTS
WHEREAS, a Consolidated Election was held in and for the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, on Tuesday,
April 2, 1991, for the purpose of electing three (3) Village Trustees,
each for a four (4) year term; two (2) Library Trustees, each for a six
(6) year term.
WHEREAS, the Village President, a Village Trustee, and the Village
Clerk met after due notice to all concerned parties and canvassed the
results of the election as required by statute by examining the official
tally sheets and returns which have been transmitted to the Village
Clerk by the County Clerk and have made their report to the Village
Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2: That a total of 2,562 votes were cast for the
Office of Village Trustee in following manner:
*Michael A. Tosto 1.400
*Nancy J. Czarnik 1,668
*Charles B. Henrici 1,136
James P. Petri 1,301
William M. Gruzynski 1,198
Richard Calderone 144
(write-in)
*ELK GROVE COMMUNITY PARTY
Section 3: That a total of 2,562 votes were cast for the
Office of Library Trustee in the following manner:
Kerry L. Waser 1,255
Donald Henderson 1,418
Donald E. Waddell 1,554

Section 4: That the Proclamation of the Canvassing Board is
hereby accepted in total.
Section 5: That Michael A. Tosto, Nancy J. Czarnik and James P.
Petri, received the highest number of votes for the Office of Village
Trustee of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years
each and are hereby declared elected.
Section 6: That Donald Henderson and Donald E. Waddell received
the highest number of votes for the Office of Library Trustee and are
hereby declared elected to the Office of Library Trustee of the Village
of Elk Grove Village for a term of six (6) years each.
Section 7: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after it passage and approval according to law.
PASSED this 9th day of April , 1991.
