A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COOK COUNTY HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC SIDEWALK ALONG
LANDMEIER ROAD FROM BUSSE ROAD TO HIGGINS ROAD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to
sign the attached documents marked:
AGREEMENT
SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION - LANDMEIER ROAD
BUSSE ROAD TO HIGGINS ROAD
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the
signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

AGREEMENT
THE COUNTY OF COOK LANDMEIER ROAD
BUSSE ROAD TO HIGGIN
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE SECTION: 25 -A6317 -01 -RP
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between the
COUNTY OF COOK, A body politic and corporate of the State of Illinois,
hereinafter called "COUNTY", and the Village of Elk Grove a Municipal
Corporation within Cook County Illinois, hereinafter called "VILLAGE".
WITNESSTH
THAT,WHEREAS'the COUNTY has in progress an improvement project
on Landmeier Road from Busse Road to Higgins Road, and
WHEREAS the VILLAGE has requested the COUNTY to include in its
improvement project, sidewalks on both sides of the road.
NOW, therefore, the partiesagree as follows:
1. The COUNTYS Contractor will construct the sidewalks on both
sides of Landmeier Road within the improvement project and within
the existing right of way, as shown on Exhibit A.
2. THE Village agrees to pay the entire cost of the sidewalk
installation within 30 days of being notified that the sidewalks have
been constructed.Payment shall be by check, payable to the Treasurer
of Cook County for deposit in County's Motor Fuel Tax Account 600-570,
sent (or delivered) to the County Superintendent of Highways.
3. THE Village agrees to accept full responsibility for the
maintenance, replacement, removal, relocation and legal jurisdiction
of the completed sidewalk.
IN WITNESS Whereof the COUNTY and Village have caused this
agreement to be executed by their respective officials on the dates
as shown.
