A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AUTHORIZING AN ADVISORY REFERENDUM
REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RUNWAYS AT O' HARE
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1 : That pursuant to Chapter 46, Section 28-1 , Illinois Revised
Statutes, there shall appear on the ballot in all precincts of the Village of
Elk Grove Village at the General Election to be held November 6, 1990, the
following question:
Shall the State of Illinois prohibit Yes ( )
construction of new runways at O' Hare
International Airport No ( )
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove
Village is authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to carry
out the terms of this Resolution.
Section 3: That the County Clerk of Cook County is hereby authorized
to take all steps necessary to carry out the terms of this Resolution.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to publish this Resolution in pamphlet form according to law.
Section 5: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
