A RESOLUTION APPROVING A STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT TO
INSTALL PUBLIC SIDEWALKS BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE AND WARNER-LAMBERT COMPANY (1350 Estes)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, State of
Illinois:
Section 1: That the Village of Elk Grove Village does hereby accept
the attached document marked:
"Statement of Commitment to Install Public Sidewalks"
(Busse Road and Touhy Avenue Frontages)
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT
TO
CONSTRUCT PUBLIC SIDEWALK
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECT PROPERTY: Lot 1 in Warner-Lambert
Company subdivision, being a subdivision in the northeast quarter
of section 34, township 41 north, range 11, east of the third
principal meridian, in Cook County, Illinois .
Also
That part of the north half of the northeast quarter of section
34, township 41 north, range 11, east of the third principal
meridian, bounded and described as follows: beginning at a point
on the west line of State Route 83, 52 . 60 feet south of the north
line of said northeast quarter of said section 34 ( said place of
beginning also being 1386. 17 feet south of the north line of the
south half of the southeast quarter of section 27, township 41
north, range 11 , east of the third principal meridian) ; thence
west along a line parallel to the south line of lot 100 in Centex
Industrial Park Unit 69, being a subdivision in said sections 27
and 34 and being a line forming an angle of 90° 11 ' from north to
west with said west line of State Route 83 a distance of 1962 . 85
feet; thence south at right angles to the last described course,
589 . 35 feet to the north line of Estes Avenue, as dedicated in
Centex Industrial Park Unit 74, being a subdivision in said
section 34; thence east along said north line of Estes Avenue
1961 . 17 feet to the west line of said State Route 83 ; thence
north along said west line of State Route 83, 565 . 00 feet to the
place of beginning (excepting therefrom the west 1273 . 72 feet, as
measured along the north line thereof) all in Cook County,
Illinois.
Warner-Lambert Company agrees to construct public sidewalk along
the Touhy Road frontage of the above-described property in the
Village of Elk Grove Village immediately upon receiving notice �0
do so from the Village of Elk Grove Village . We agree to
construct all storm sewers and appurtenances reasonably required
for the public sidewalk construction and will secure all the
necessary permits for the construction.
Should the Village of Elk Grove award a contract for the sidewalk
and/or storm sewer construction, we agree to pay our pro-rata
share of the cost.

If property ownership is to be transferred prior to the
construction of a public sidewalk and/or storm sewer, we agree to
require the new owner to execute a "Statement of Commitment to
Install Public Sidewalk" satisfactory to the Village of Elk Grove
Village prior to the transfer of ownership.
I understand that the sidewalk construction waiver and the
"Statement of Commitment to Construct Public Sidewalk" will be
recorded in the County Clerk' s office by the Village of Elk Grove
Village and the cost thereof is the responsibility of the
applicant.
