A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 8.3, (C) (1) OF THE
PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS Of THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, State of
Illinois:
Section 1: That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby
authorize an amendment to the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the
Village of Elk Grove Village be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
8.3 VACATION PCLICY ITEM C:
1. Vacation benefits accrued are normally taken between
an employees anniversary date and December 31, of that
calendar year.
Only in exceptional or unusual cases and with the prior
written approval of the Department Head and the Village
Manager may vacation benefits be carried over beyond
December 31 into the following calendar year.
Vacation benefits which remain unused after December 31 of
the calendar year in which they are required to be taken
or vacation benefits which have been properly carried over
into the next calendar year and which remain unused after
the designated time to take such carried over vacation will
be forfeited without compensation.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
