HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 31-89 - 5/9/1989 - CLASS 6B STATUS/700 TOUHYu RESOLUTION NO. 31-89 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CLASS 6B STATUS PURSUANT TO THE COOK COUNTY REAL PROPERTY CLASSIFICATION ORDINANCE AS AMENDED OCTOBER 1, 1984 FOR CERTAIN REAL ESTATE OWNED BY GULLO INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LOCATED AT 700 TOUHY AVENUE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove desires to promote the establishment of industry in the Village of Elk Grove; and WHEREAS, the Cook County Assessor is operating under an ordinance passed by the Cook County Board of Commissioners which has instituted a program to encourage industrial development in Cook County; and WHEREAS, Gullo International Development Corporation has applied for Class 6B property status for a certain piece of real estate, located at 700 Touhy Avenue, in the Village of Elk Grove, Illinois, with the Property Index Number of 08-27-303-075 (pre - division), Volume 050, and has proven to this Board that such real estate is appropriate for the receipt of tax incentive benefits; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE, ILLINOIS, as follows: 1. That the request of Gullo International Development Corporation to have certain real estate located at 700 Touhy Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, legally described as follows, and with the Property Index Number of 08-27-303-075 (pre -division), Volume 050, declared eligible for Class 6B status pursuant to the Cook County Real Property Classification Ordinance, as amended October 1, 1984, is hereby granted as said real estate is appropriate for incentive abatement: 0 Lot 1 in Virginia Resubdivision, being a resubdivision of Lot 402 in Centex Industrial Park Unit 249, being a subdivision in the Southwest Quarter of Section 27 and the Northwest Quarter of Section 34, all in Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. 2. That the Village hereby recommends said site to be appropriate for Cook County Class 6B status. 3. That the Mayor and Clerk or other appropriate Village officials are hereby authorized to sign any necessary documents to implement this resolution. 4.
