COMPLAINT BY RESIDENT
The members of the Village Board were advised by the
Village Manager that a resident had advised the Village Manager's
Office in mid-April 1989 that the driver of a dark colored truck
with a "star" on the door had been seen placing private advertise-
ments in mailboxes at 8 a.m. The resident thought that the "star"
resembled the logo used on Village vehicles.
The Village owns two dark trucks and both were properly accounted
for on the day of the reported incident.
The resident will be advised that our investigation revealed no
Municipal employee or Municipal vehicle were used to deliver private
advertisements.
