HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 67-89 - 10/10/1989 - CLASS 6B STATUS/2395 GREENLEAF RESOLUTION NO. 67-89 A RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF CLASS 6b INCENTIVE ABATEMENT FOR PLANNED NEW CONSTRUCTION IN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE, ILLINOIS, AT (2395 Greenleaf Avenue) THE WEST 180 . 5 FEET AS MEASURED ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THAT PART OF LOT 21 LYING EAST OF A LINE DRAWN PARALLEL WITH AND 1105 FEET WEST (ASMEASURED ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF GREENLEAF AVENUE) OF THE WEST LINE OF LOT 22, ALL IN CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK, UNIT 5, BEING A SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 35 , TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. WHEREAS, the Cook County Real Property Classification Ordinance, as amended on October 1, 1984, provides for real estate tax incentive abatements for newly constructed buildings or other structures, or buildings and other structures which have been substantially rehabilitated to the extent said rehabilitation has added to their value; and WHEREAS, Vista Services, Inc. desires to obtain a real estate tax incentive abatement for its planned new construction of an approximate 20 , 000 square foot manufacturing building at THE WEST 180 . 5 FEET AS MEASURED ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THAT PART OF LOT 21 LYING EAST OF A LINE DRAWN PARALLEL WITH AND 1105 FEET WEST (AS MEASURED ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF GREENLEAF � AVENUE) OF THE WEST LINE OF LOT 22, ALL IN CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK, UNIT 5 , BEING A SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 35 , TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, Elk Grove, Illinois, pursuant to Class 6b, of section 2 , of the aforementioned Cook County Ordinance; and WHEREAS, in order to obtain a Class 6b incentive abatement, Vista Services, Inc. needs a resolution of the Village of Elk Grove approving Vista Services, Inc. property as appropriate for incentive abatement; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove have reviewed the proposed plans for the new construction and have reviewed the general area and location of the proposed new construction; and WHEREAS, after said review, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove have determined that the proposed new construction will increase economic activity in the area of the new construction, help to relieve conditions of unemployment by creating new employment opportunities, and increase the tax base in the Village of Elk Grove. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove, Cook County, Illinois, that the planned new construction of an approximate 20 ,000 square foot manufacturing building, at THE WEST 180 . 5 FEET AS MEASURED ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THAT PART OF LOT 21 LYING EAST OF A LINE DRAWN PARALLEL WITH AND 1105 FEET WEST (AS MEASURED ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF GREENLEAF AVENUE) OF THE WEST LINE OF LOT 22 , ALL IN CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK, UNIT 5, BEING A SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, is 2Lppropriate for incentive abatement pursuant to Class 6b, of Section 2, of the Cook County Real Property Assessment Classification Ordinance as Amended.
