A RE$OLUTION COMMENDING THE REVEREND ROGER D. PIETELKO
WHEREAS, it should he acknowledged that the Village of Elk Grove
Village wishes to express its appreciation to the Reverend Roger D. Pittelko
for outstanding services rendered to the common welfare of residents of Elk
Grave Village and its immediate environs; and
WHEREA$, the Reverend Roger D. Pittelko has been Pastor of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church of the Halg spirit for a period covering the past Twentg-three
and one-half (231.) years, and has enriched the spiritual lives of the people of
this Community, bath parishnners and non-parishoners; and
WHEREA$, the Reverend Roger D. Pittelko with his personality and through
his capacity for human compassion, love far children, friendship and under-
standing, has been a guiding factor in the growth of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Reverend Roger D. Pittelko has served as Chaplain far the
Elk Grave Village Fire Department since April 6, 1971; and
WHEREAS, through his guidance he has established moral values, and through
his capacity far human compassion has given much in friendship and understanding
to this Community; and
WHEREAS, it is both fitting and proper that the Reverend Roger D. Pittelka
he recognized far his many very special contributions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE It RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
section 1. That the Reverend Roger D. Pittelkn is hereby cnmmended
for his sustained service which has provided a vital roll
in the growth of the Village and far setting an example
for all men bg his love and faith in God and dedication
to his community.
section 2. That on behalf of the Village we extend to him cur
sincerest wishes far health and happiness, which he so
richly deserves.
section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
