A RESOLUTION APPROVING A STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT
TO INSTALL PUBLIC SIDEWALKS BETWEEN THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND CRANE-FORESTER/ELK GROVE
VILLAGE ASSOCIATES (HAMPTON INN, 50 BUSSE ROAD)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1: That the Village of Elk Grove Village does hereby
accept the attached document marked:
''Statement of Commitment to Install
Public Sidewalks''
a copy of which is attached hereto and made of part hereof as
if fully set forth.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage approval according to law.

STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT
January 30, 1985
To: Village of Elk Grove Village
From: Crane-Forester/Elk Grove Village Associates
Subject: Statement of Commitment to Construct Public Sidewalk.
Legal description of subject property:
Of that part of the East half of the Southeast quarter
of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the
Third Principal Meridian described as follows: Commencing
at the Southeast corner of said Southeast quarter; thence
North along the East line of said Southeast quarter 438.15
feet to the center line of Higgins Road as originally laid
out for the place of beginning; thence Northwesterly along
said center line, being along a line that forms an angle
of 41 degrees 11 minutes to the left with the prolongation
of the last described course, a distance of 547.45 feet;
thence North parallel with the East line of said South-
east quarter, 331.01 feet to the Southerly line of a fifty
foot wide strip of land lying Southerly of the Southerly
right of way line of the Northwest Toll Highway; thence
Southeasterly along the Southerly line of said fifty foot
wide strip of land 513.73 feet to the East line of said
Southeast quarter; thence South along said East line
376.85 feet to the place of beginning. (EXCEPT the East
50.0 feet thereof) and containing 2.5 Acres in Cook County,
Illinois.
Statement of Commitment:
Crane-Forester/Elk Grove Village Associates agrees to construct public
sidewalks along the Busse Road and Old Higgins Road frontages of the
above-described property in the Village of Elk Grove Village immediately
upon receiving notice to do so from the Village of Elk Grove Village.
We agree to construct all storm sewers and appurtenances required for
the public sidewalk construction and will secure all the necessary
permits for the construction.

Statement of Commitment continued:
Should -the Village of Elk Grove Village award a contract for the sidewalk
and/or storm sewer construction, we agree to pay our pro -rata share of
the cost.
If the property ownership is to be transferred prior to the construction
of a public sidewalk and/or storm sewer, we agree to require the new
owner to execute a "Statement of Commitment to Install Public Sidewalk"
satisfactory to the Village of Elk Grove Village prior to ownership
transfer.
I understand that the sidewalk construction waiver and the "Statement of
Commitment to Construct Public Sidewalk" will be recorded in the County
Clerk's office, the cost thereof being the responsibility of the applicant.
