A RESOLUTION CLARIFYING THE INTENT OF THE FIRE MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT
APPROVED UNDER RESOLUTION 103-70, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE TO ENTER INTO A MASTER MUTUAL FIRE AID AGREEMENT
BETWEEN ALL PARTICIPATING MUNICIPALITIES.
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village currently participates in a
Fire Mutual Aid Agreement between surrounding Fire Departments under
Resolution 103-70; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is desirous in expanding this
cooperation to an initial response concept;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, State of
Illinois:
1. That the term "Box Alarm Assignment" as used in the Agreement
under Resolution 103-70, is intended to include initial response
equipment between two or more communities, and
2. The Fire Chief is authorized to establish agreements under
Box Alarm assignments between Elk Grove Village and any
other community that is party to the Mutual Aid Agreement
and is willing to participate in an initial response situation.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
