AMENDMENT TO CITY OF WOOD DALE - VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
JURISDICTIONAL COMMON BOUNDARY LINE AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1 : That the Village President be and is hereby authorized
to sign the attached documents marked:
Amendment to City of Wood Dale - Village of Elk Grove Village
Jurisdictional Common Boundary Line Agreement
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon
the signature of the Village President.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

AMENDMENT TO
CITY OF WOOD DALE - VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
JURISDICTIONAL COMMON BOUNDARY LINE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County ,
Illinois (hereinafter referred to as "Elk Grove") and the City
of Wood Dale, DuPage County , Illinois (hereinafter referred to
as "Wood Dale") , entered into a "Jurisdictional Common
Boundary Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as "Agreement" )
on May 17 , 1973 , a copy of which Agreement is attached hereto
as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS , the principal intent of the Agreement is to guide the
development and annexation of certain territory which lies be-
tween the corporate limits of Elk Grove and Wood Dale south of
Devon Avenue; and
WHEREAS , the recent development patterns of both
municipalities require that an amendment to said Agreement be
approved to assure continued cooperative planning, coordinated
utility and roadway extensions and good inter-governmental
relations between Elk Grove and Wood Dale; and
WHEREAS , each municipality believes it to be in its best
interest singularly and collectively to approve this amendment
(hereinafter referred to as "Amended Agreement" ) to the
Agreement whereby each can project and plan to attain the
objectives both desire;
NOW , THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual benefits ,
commitments , promises , and f orebearances , the parties agree
to the following amendments to the Agreement as follows :
1 . A. That a line drawn upon the center line of
Devon Avenue from a point on the center line of Salt Creek and
eastward to the center line of Wood Dale Road, thence south
upon the center line of Wood Dale Road a distance of
approximately 700+ feet to the south lot line (extended so as
to intersect with the said center line of Wood Dale Road) of
property commonly known as "Altman-s Plat of Survey No. 3 ,
thence east a distance of approximately 600t feet along the
south lot line of "Altman's Plat of Survey No. 3 , thence south
a distance of approximately 950+ f eet along the east lines of
properties commonly known as the "Domenella Parcel" (as
legally defined in Exhibit B hereto) and Lot 2 of Wm. Lumpp-s
Plat of Survey to a point on the center line of Mark Street
( extended from the Elk Grove Village Industrial Park) , thence
east a distance of approximately 700+ feet along said extended
center line of Mark Street , thence south a distance of
approximately 810± feet along the east lines of the
subdivision known as Elk Grove Industrial Park Unit 14 and Elk
Grove Industrial Park Unit 16 located within the corporate
limits of Elk Grove, thence west a distance of 228. 8 feet
along an extension of the north lot line of the Subdivision
known as Elk Grove Village Industrial Park Unit 16 , thence
south a distance of 696. 42 feet along the west lot line of the
Subdivision known as Elk Grove Village Industrial Park Unit 16
to the north right of way line of Thorndale Avenue, thence
east to the present easterly corporate limits of Elk Grove is
hereby established as the boundary line of jurisdiction of
Wood Dale and Elk Grove Village.
B . That , upon petition of the owners thereof pre-
sented to the President and Board of Trustees of Elk Grove
