Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on August 16, 2022, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Personnel.

Mayor Johnson advised that the Police Union contract extension is close to approval. The Union
has indicated that over half of their membership will vote in favor of the proposal with the 12
hour shifts and 3% annual pay increases. Recent contracts from surrounding communities are
providing 3.75-4% raises. In addition to the 3% minimum annual pay raises, the Police Union
guarantees their pay will remain in 9th place in comparison to comparable communities. The
contract extension is being finalized for legal review.
