STORINO Acting Village Attorney Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on August 16, 2022, this Executive Session was called to consider review of Land Acquisition. Number of pages attached: Date(s) of review for release: Date of approval for release: Date approved by Village Board: 1 February 2024 September 13, 2022 August 16, 2022 6:40 pm The Village has been working with Cook County and IDOT to acquire ownership of the Midway Court right-of-way, which will facilitate the full build -out of the Prime Data Center Development. The Village requested assistance from State Senator Laura Murphy and State Representative Marty Moylan to encourage timely action by IDOT, who has had the Village's request since February 2021. Cook County owns part of the ROW, and the Village is concerned based on their comments that they plan to value their parcel based on the price per square foot paid to Vulcan, which was $70/sq. foot. This price included a substantial payment for Vulcan to agree to shut down their operations, since no available relocation space could be found. Staff is working toward the release of Midway Court from Cook County and IDOT. The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 pm.
