Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on October 11, 2022, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Personnel.

The Police Union contract was ratified by a vote of 35-27. Village Manager Roan will be
meeting with the Sergeants, who may not be receptive of the 12-hour shifts. It has not yet been
determined whether the Sergeants will be transitioning to 12-hour shifts. Village Manager Roan
requested approval to offer an incentive for Police Sergeant Supervisor training up to $100 per
pay period, which is $2600 annually. Village Manager Roan advised this incentive would only
be brought up if necessary. The consensus of the Board was to authorize Village Manager Roan
to offer this option if needed.
