Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on October 25, 2022, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Personnel.

Public Works Chief Infrastructure Engineer Brian Lovering has accepted an offer with the City
of Lockport. The Village offered him the Deputy Public Works Director position, but he
declined after initially accepting. The Public Works Senior Engineer and Engineering Tech are
also leaving in the next month.
As part of a recruitment plan to fill these critical vacancies, Village Manager Roan requested
approval to potentially create a new Deputy Director of PW positon and retitle the Engineering
Tech position to Staff Engineer. The consensus of the Board was to provide the Village Manager
the authorization to create this new Deputy PW Director position and retitling of the Engineering
Tech position to Staff Engineer.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 pm.
