Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on December 13, 2022, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The Mayor informed the Board that the property at 500 E. Higgins is up for sale. The Village
Manager proposed that the Village purchase the property at 500 E. Higgins and the building next
to it at 570 E. Higgins to improve the area and to facilitate a new 2.2 acre industrial
development. The consensus of the Board was to proceed with pursuing the purchase of the two
buildings using TIF funds.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:21 pm.
