A RESOLUTION DIRECTED TO THE BOCA NOMINATING COMMITTEE TO
SUPPORT THOMAS F. RETTENBACHER FOR THE OFFICE OF TREASURER
OF BOCA INTERNATIONAL
WHEREAS, Thomas F. Rettenbacher has devoted his talents and energies
to the Village of Elk Grove Village in the capacity of Building Inspector
since 1962 and as Building Commissioner since 1968: and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rettenbacher has held the responsibility for administration
and enforcement of Building Codes and Ordinances during the period of Elk
Grove Village's greatest developement:: and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rettenbacher is a civic minded member and active
participant in the Building Officials and Code Administrators International,
Council of American Building Officials and has served on and chaired
various committees for these organizations: and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rettenbacher is an individual totally dedicated to
professionalism in the field of inspection and code enforcement and is
a strong advocate of training and education for career certification
and advancement is a credit to the Village of Elk Grove Village, its
surrounding communities and the field of Building Code Administration.
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of Elk Grove Village,
that we congratulate and commend Thomas F. Rettenbacher for showing the
dedication and ability required to be, an effective Building Commissioner:
and, be it further
RESOLVED, that we urge the BOCA Nominating Committee support Mr.
Rettenbacher for the office of Treasurer of The Building Officials and
Code Administrators International: and be it further
RESOLVED, that the members of the Building Officials and Code
Administrators International elect Thomas F. Rettenbacher to the office
of Treasurer.
