A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES AND
REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE_
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State
of Illinois:
Section 1 : That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby
authorize the amendment to the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the
Village of Elk Grove Village by amending Section 8.24 entitled,
"Deferred Compensation", adopted by Resolution No. 57-80, a copy of
which is attached hereto and made part hereof as if fully set forth.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

Section 8.24 Deferred Compensation
The Village will permit all permanent full-time employees and all
permanent part-time employees to participate in the Deferred Compensation
as prescribed within the terms and conditions of the plan in effect.
The Deferred Compensation plan will provide participating employees
with the ability to start a supplemental retirement plan, well reducing
their Federal income tax liability as provided by Federal Tax Law.
Employees wishing to participate or obtain more information should
contact the Personnel Office.
