Section 1 : That the Village of Elk Grove Village does hereby register
objections to the petitioner' s request for the Special Use Permit described
above for the following reasons:
a. The Elk Grove Village Comprehensive Plan and Official Map adopted
on October 22, 1968 and duly filed with the Cook County Clerk declares said
land to be within our future annexation plans and for it to be within the
corporate limits of Elk Grove Village.
b. If developed as an unincorporated area, it would not be adequately
served by essential urban services such as Police protection, Fire protection,
Ambulance service, Sewer service and Water supply.
C. If developed as an unincorporated area, it would be an island
unto itself always seeking public services in time of crisis from the
Village of Elk Grove Village without sharing in the continuing costs of
maintaining such services.
