A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
AND VILLAGE CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BY
AND BETWEEN KLEFSTED ENGINEERING COMPANY AND
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President and Village
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with the
Klefsted Engineering Company, a copy of said Agreement being
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.

3. If the sanitary flow from the subject property is
greater than Fifty Thousand (50,000) gallons per day but
less than One Hundred Thousand (100,000) gallons per day,
Klefsted shall increase the size of the wet well from four
(4') feet to six (6') feet in diameter. If the flow exceeds
One Hundred Thousand (100,000) gallons per day on any one (1)
day, Klefsted must replace the pump and provide a larger
electrical supply to the lift station to handle said pump,
as approved by the Village Engineer.
4. Klefsted shall pay for all revisions to the traffic
signals at Landmeier and Higgins Road including the providing
of turn lanes, deceleration lanes and such other related
matters as may be required by the respective Highway Depart-
ments of the County of Cook or the State of Illinois.
5. This Agreement shall be binding upon the heirs
and successors in interest of Klefsted and the Village, its
Corporate Authorities, and Successors in Office. A copy of
this Agreement shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds,
Cook County, Illinois.

A G R E E M E N T
This Agreement made and entered into this 10th day of
March , 1981, by and between Klefsted Engineering
Company (hereinafter referred to as Klefsted) and the Village
of Elk Grove Village, an Illinois Municipal Corporation (here-
inafter referred to as Village);
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, Klefsted is the owner of certain property
located near the intersection of Higgins and Elmhurst Road
in the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, Klefsted has filed with the Village two (2)
plats for one (1) lot subdivisions; and
WHEREAS, the Village has adhered to and utilized a
certain recommended thoroughfare plan, which plan requires
the extension of Landmeier Road over and across the subject
property; and
WHEREAS, Klefsted has requested that the Village waive
its requirement for the extension of Landmeier Road and the
Village is agreeable thereto subject to Klefsted complying
with the requirements and conditions herein contained:
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises
and conditions set forth herein and other good and valuable
consideration the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, it
is hereby agreed as follows:
1. Klefsted is relieved of the obligation of extending
Landmeier Road over and across the subject property, which
property is legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated herein.
2. Klefsted agrees to provide a second source of water
to the subject property, said second source to be effectuated
by extending either the main along Higgins Road or the main
along Landmeier Road to the subject property in conformance
with all applicable Village Ordinances.
