AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO PROTECH
ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. TO PERMIT AN ELECTRONICS RECYCLING FACILITY
AT 1550 HOWARD STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, acting as a
Zoning Commission, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the
petition of Protech Environmental, Inc. for a Special Use Permit for an Electronics Recycling
Facility for property located at 1550 Howard Street, Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe it
to be in the best interest of the Village that the Special Use Permit be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section l: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to Protech Environmental, Inc. to
permit an Electronics Recycling Facility for property located at 1550 Howard Street, Elk Grove
Village.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
