Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on January 24, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Disposition.

Wingspan, the Village's selected developer for the Elk Grove Woods Shopping Center, will
begin contacting current business owners to discuss operational needs as part of the
redevelopment. Wingspan is in the process of preparing renderings for the Board to review, Once
they are finalized, then a date for the public open house will be determined. The Village is still
waiting to receive the results from the traffic study.
The Mayor shared he will be meeting with Chris and George from Rose Garden on Friday. The
Mayor advised he will make it clear the transition to the new Rose Garden location needs to be
completed by May 15` and would like to bring the check for $200,000 as provided for in the
RDA, as long as staff confirms they have met the necessary conditions.
The Board also discussed that the BMO Harris Bank is interested in considering a new location
at 450 E. Higgins Road to remain in the Village and keep its existing clientele.
The Mayor also shared the Village is in a good financial standing with approximately $1.2
million dollars collected for rent from businesses in the plaza thus far.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 pm.
