SCHMIDT Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on February 14, 2023, this Executive Session was called to consider review of Land Acquisition. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: February 2025 Date of approval for release: Date approved by Village Board: March 14, 2023 February 14, 2023 6:27 pm Mayor Johnson explained that the Village is estimating that approximately $78 million dollars is available in the Busse/Elmhurst TIF fund. The Cook County price for their Midway Court parcel is $722,000 and the purchase price for the property owned by IDOT is $283,500. Although Prime has not closed on the deal yet, Midway Court is an essential part of the area and will benefit any development in the future. The consensus of the Board was to authorize staff to pursue the purchase of the Midway court parcels owned by Cook County and IDOT at these prices. The meeting was adjourned at 6:29 pm.
