Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on February 14, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The owners of 570 Higgins Road accepted the Village's offer. The final terms include an
purchase price of $850,000, the Village to cover the brokerage fees, and credit of $3,000 for the
relocation of a shed. The next step is to proceed with finalizing the purchase of the neighboring
property at 500 E Higgins Road. Staff will make an offer and expects it can purchase the
property for $650,000.
