Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on February 14, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Disposition.

The Mayor and staff toured Wingspan constructed apartment buildings to consider the design for
the Elk Grove Woods Plaza apartments. The apartments constructed by Wingspan in Mount
Prospect range between $2,300-$2,800 per month based on square footage. New apartment
buildings are full of amenities and parking.
Wingspan informed the Village that Burger Bungalow has expressed interest in a space at the
redeveloped plaza. There have also been conversations with three microbreweries and their
potential interest in being a part of the new development.
Ken Jarosch is meeting with Wingspan tomorrow to discuss the necessities of Jarosch Bakery.
Wingspan has confirmed with the Mayor that they will buy the properties and land back from the
Village for what the Village paid and the Village will assist in paying for TIF eligible expenses.
A full redevelopment agreement will still need to be negotiated.
In addition, the Mayor also shared that gas station remediation is estimated to cost $150,000 and
the preliminary traffic study confirmed the development will work.
