Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on February 28, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The sale agreement between the Village and Cook County for the purchase of Midway Court is
on the Village Board agenda. The Village will sign the contract first and the Cook County
Committee will refer the approval of the purchase of Midway Court to the Cook County Board
for consideration on March 16. IDOT is in the process of scheduling an auction date for the sale
of the parcel. The consensus of the Board was to authorize staff to acquire the IDOT parcel. At
this time, no date has been established for Prime to close the Vulcan parcel.
