BMO Harris is vacating on April 30, 2023 and will be moving to 450 E Higgins Road. Mayor Johnson and Village Manager Roan met with the owners of Rose Garden to check on the status of construction. The work is progressing on the renovations and will feature a new and open concept. The owners informed the Mayor that they are considering an addition to the building in the future to build a 60-person banquet room on the east side. They anticipate to complete construction in April. The owners expressed they are having trouble completing the work on the interior because the roof is leaking and they are having trouble finding roofers. The Mayor shared with the Board that the agreement includes a total of $400,000 for the Rose Garden, $200,000 for the initial costs, and $200,000 once the doors open. The Rose Garden has already received the initial $200,000 and is now requesting $100,000 out of the remaining $200,000 to help cover costs right now. The consensus of the Committee was to approve providing them the $100,000 to use towards cost right now, and provide the remaining $100,000 once construction is complete. The meeting was adjourned at 6:23 pm. L
