Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on March 14, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The Village Attorney has reached out to the attorney who represents the owner of the Marathon
Gas Station and Burger King properties located at Elmhurst and Higgins. The owner is looking
to put up a hot dog restaurant and gambling place in those properties. The owner's attorney
advised the owner is possibly looking into moving all of his businesses and properties to
Bensenville, although that will take about 2 years. The Village Attorney is inquiring whether the
owner would consider an offer for the Village to purchase the properties.
