Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on March 14, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Disposition.

The Mayor shared updated renderings for the proposed apartment complex in the Elk Grove
Woods Plaza redevelopment. The Board was in favor of the updated grey color scheme and
changes to the roof structures and materials. Wingspan is working on updating the entire space to
match these new renderings. The Board also discussed the resident age summary provided from
an apartment complex operated by Wingspan in Mount Prospect. The age summary states that
people in the age group of 19-40 make up over 61 % of the renters, at these type of apartments in
the area.
The Board discussed a second open house in mid -April to present the updated renderings and
offer an opportunity for the public to provide more input prior to the Plan Commission hearing
process.
