Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on March 28, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Litigation.

The Mayor inquired about the forensic audit of the Elk Grove Rural Protection District. The
Village Manager shared he was not sure if the documents have been provided and that he will
check on the status.
The Board discussed the potential Roppolo development and noted that Mario Gullo signed the
contract to sell his property.
The Village Attorney advised that Mario Gullo's attorney submitted a FOIA requesting the
communications between the Village and Branigar subdivision, which currently contracts with
the Village for Fire Protection Services. The Village Attorney advised he believes this FOIA is
meant to find a cheaper alternative than the proposed SSA which Gullo objects to.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:50 pm.
