Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on March 28, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

An agreement has been reached for the sale of the property at 500 E. Higgins for $680,000. The
agreement between the owner for the property at 570 E. Higgins is not yet finalized as the owner
has asked the Village to be responsible for paying the property taxes while they continue to
occupy the building. The Village is waiting to hear from the attorney on the closing agreement.
