Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on April 11, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The Mayor shared the following updates on pending Land Acquisitions:
• The purchase sale agreement for the La Quinta property is on tonight's Village Board
Agenda
• A draft redevelopment agreement has been provided for the former Days Inn and Phoenix
Club properties for the construction of a Home2 by Hilton.
• The purchase sale agreement for 500 E. Higgins is on tonight's Village Board Agenda
• The purchase sale agreement for 570 E Higgins is on tonight's Village Board Agenda
• The purchase sale agreement for the Technology Park Commercial Lot is on tonight's
Village Board Agenda
• The Village is waiting to hear back on the offer made for the vacant hotel parcel at the
Elk Grove Technology Park
• There is no update on the acquisition of the ACME Finishing property at this time
