Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on April 25, 2023, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The negotiations to determine a purchase price for the Marathon, Burger King, and Heavenly
Body properties is underway. The attorney representing the property owner shared that he has
plans to build a new location for the businesses in Bensenville. The plan is to buy the Marathon
and Burger King properties first, and allow the Heavenly Bodies to continue operating until the
new property is built. The properties are in the TIF district and prices are currently being
negotiated.
