Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on June 20, 2023, this Executive Session was called to consider
review of Personnel.

As of Tuesday, June 20, there are only 11 applications submitted for the firefighter testing
process. The application period is still open for a few more weeks although all surrounding fire
departments are experiencing the same challenge.
The Mayor shared that he will be working with the Village Manager and Village Attorney to
review the Fire & Police Commission process to see if adjustments are needed.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:29 pm.
